Ebay Misrepresenting One Of My Listings

All my listings are mailed either USPS Ground Advantage or Media Mail. I listed a pottery piece with USPS Ground Advantage shipping and when I searched for it the listing indicates in green Next Day Delivery. I do mail everything next business day but mailing next day is obviously not next day delivery. If I was a buyer I'd expect to receive the item the day after it was mailed. Any idea why ebay is doing this?

Keep in mind when searching for your own listings that you may see something different than others will see. When i checked your listings, there was no blurb about next day delivery.

Re: Ebay Misrepresenting One Of My Listings

The estimated delivery times are based on a purchase that day. And because you are looking at your own listing, it's assuming that you'll get it more quickly than if your shipping zip code was cross-country.

If I look at one of your listings and put in a Boston area zip code, I'm seeing Estimated between 2-3 days.

But when I put in a California zip code, I'm seeing Estimated between January 30 to Feb. 3.

Re: Ebay Misrepresenting One Of My Listings

Thanks for the clarification. That said without using the expedited services I doubt I'd get an item next day even if I mailed it to myself!

Then end the listing and relist and use 3 days handling time.
