Ebay Messaging

Does anyone else have trouble navigating the Messages page?  I usually check the We Sent Your Payout messages with my bank account and send these to archive.  Some how I archived the last 22 messages and I cannot find the archive section to read them and/or return some to active.  ???

It's working for me.  Is the sidebar collapsed on your screen, possibly?  Look for this icon at the top left of the list of messages: 

If you click that little box with the arrow in it, it'll expand the folders and one of them should be Archive.

Hi @housekat99 . On the left do you see the Messages menu?

If you're not seeing it, then your browser view is zoomed in too much and eBay is collapsing the menu by default.

Clicking the expand/collapse icon will expand the menu and you will find your Archive folder.

To permanently expand the menu you'd need to zoom out your browser view which you can do by clicking Ctrl and -

Thank you, but it isn't working for me.  I clicked on the little box and best I got was "22 messages were archived".  I click on that and nothing.  This is how I got my last messages archived when I didn't want that.

Maybe try another browser or device to rule out a software issue?  You can also try clearing your cache in the browser you're using (let us know and we can find instructions, if you're not already familiar with the process).

If you archived messages in error you can restore them to your inbox.

- Open Archive folder

- Check box next to messages you want to move

- Click "move" icon all the way on top right

- Select inbox as the destination

Thanks all for your imput!  I still hadn't been able to move from archive to inbox (tried clicking on unread).  My problem was - I am embarrassed to say - was that my zoom was too high, when I lowered it I then saw all the

folders, and saw my messages in my archive box.  I still think the page is awkward, though!

The page is awkward & I have other problems navigating the whole thing, it's not a great design for a web-based product.
