An international buy bought a watch from me for $335 ($325 + $10 shipping). The buyer received the watch, then waited 9 days to open a case saying that I sent them an empty box. Ebay sided with the buyer and now I am out of my watch and the money. I am trying to file an appeal, but the case is not showing up on the on my list of resolved cases. I am also not able to reach anyone at Ebay. Please help!!!

By the way, I have tried all of the steps that i found on here to be able to speak with someone and they are not leading me to the option to get the passcode for customer service.

Ebay sided with the buyer
The "empty box" claim is a "not as described" issue. There is no seller protection for not as described claims. They are decided in the buyer's favor.
Do not post anything for sale here that you can not afford to lose.

"Do not post anything for sale here that you can not afford to lose. "
Sad state of things selling on E-bay.

I would file a claim/dispute with ebay. Especially for 300+ dollars. You've got nothing to lose but al lot of your time.
Start off with proving the shipping weight. The box with a watch in it weighs this much. That's what it weighed when i shipped it. A empty box weighs this much.
If you do win, ebay will not take the money back from the buyer. They will pay you out of pocket and take the loss. They can afford it.
Good luck and stay safe!

Related to an empty box claim...
When I first used their Global Shipping Program, my daughter sold TWO Monster High Dolls. And the buyer was from Spain, but I did not know it at the time because the EBAY Kansas Processing Center was the shipping address.
So when I got a message from the seller that only ONE of the dolls was in the box, I contacted Ebay--when they still had legitimate call-by-phone customer service. Because I used their Global Shipping Program, which reportedly checks the items and repackages them, Ebay covered me on it. Is inquire about that.
As a general stance, I had lost nearly all faith in Ebay's Seller Protection ads and marketing. The COVID era has just make it more convenient for them to NOT really hear issues or complaints that long time users may be having (I have been using Ebay for 21+ years). I helped my daughter sell for the first time from a newer account about 1.5 months ago. I quickly shipped the item, I updated tracking, and the buyer left positive feedback. Then while I was waiting for the funds to be released from the first sale hold, the buyer cancelled their payment of $191, and now they can't be contacted. Ebay and PayPal are apathetic and referred me to making a report at the FBI website for Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). I found it very interesting that this is their best gesture of customer support they have now. Perhaps there is more going on about "scams" on Ebay than we are aware. Perhaps the problems have grown to a level that they can't back it as they once did.

So sorry to hear of this. I do not sell anything of value (over $100) anymore due to eb's new policy of return an empty box or a box of rocks for a full refund.

When I first used their Global Shipping Program,
What a splendid idea!!! If @wlwright51 shipped via the GSP, there may be hope for this situation. The problem is, and always has been, that neither eBay nor PayPal recognizes a GSP sale when a complaint is filed, and one has to contact eBay and convince someone that it is a GSP sale. The "$10 shipping" indicates it must may have been sent to KY instead of directly to the international destination.
