ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

IT’S OVER, IT'S THE ONLY WAY

I have read and read many comments looking for solutions to my issues with eBay and find there are none. I have now had enough of sales what seems to be controlled by eBay. I have had enough of eBay asking me to spend more money by promoting listings to generate sales. I refuse to pay extra money for something I am already paying for. In my opinion I pay for a shop that should make all my listing viewable all of the time, not when eBay feels like it. I have had enough of paying 10% to eBay for postage and packaging. I have had enough of eBay deciding in the buyers favor when I produce 100% evidence that the buyer is a liar. I have had enough of eBay giving my money away to buyers who are liars. I have had enough of eBay making it easy for buyer to commit fraud. I have had enough of eBay making these decisions without looking at both sides of the story. I have had enough of being told when to post. I have had enough being told item arrived late when it was posted on time; I have had enough of telling them I am not a postman. I have had enough of buyers being allowed to leave negative feedback without the seller having the same privilege. I have had enough of paying out of my pocket so eBay can keep a reputation of a stupid money back guarantees. I do not know what is happening to eBay, but I tell you this, I have had enough.

You could  cut  your FVFs you pay for  shipping/handling by cutting you S & H in half or even more - $9.00 for Economy Shipping seems like a  lot of  S & H for a lawn mower spring or  bolt or other light weight items you are selling.  Plus you might even sell more of the 115 items you have listed.

Just shipped  5 oz. package to Colorado from Georgia for $3.36 my cost $4.50  S & H to the buyer.

Of course, if you item weighs more up to 15.99 oz it will be more but still less than  $9.00

Heck a Priority flat rate envelope, padded up to 70 lbs. is only $7.55  even all the way to Guam.  Some buyers  have little clue of  actual shipping cost but many are really savvy.  They  maybe walking by your listing after reading the details - for one I would - I sell & buy on eBay.

Of course,  the price you list for is your call.  The amount you sell in $s  & unit  maybe a diff. story.

Apparently they haven't had enough, and want more, and its not over ...

.... all these sellers are still open for business.

Totally agree,, not sure why Ebay thinks they need to run our business for us.. I know how to run it,, I just need a venue to sell it!!   I'm slowly moving my items to another site,, started selling on Ebay in 2003 and just don't understand the changes they keep making to benefit the buyers and not looking out for the sellers..

Your replies to negative feedback is negative enough.

I agree. I have had enough of my sales dropping more each year when I have sold for 18 years. I have had enough of Ebay running my business or I don't get seen in search. I have had enough of no help from customer service. I have had enough of days on end with no sales. Every month it gets worse. I have had enough of Ebay changing everything they can all at one time and causing technical problems. The GTC move they made sent many sellers away. They just left. Or they dumped their stores. If things do not pick up I will go too. They won't miss my fees but it is criminal for Ebay to care so little for their small sellers that made Ebay.

I'm ready to stop listing on Ebay altogether - I have already cancelled my store, and am listing my items on another platform one by one...

@orangehound

Yep but I guess letting off a little steam won't  really a difference after all.

Got a kick out of  a comment that  I read some thing like "I really don't need eBay just a venue to  git 'er dun" - hmmmm!  Deep!

That comment wasn't on this thread but one with a similar  complaint.
