EBay's policy is wrong.

Hello. The problem is the following. You are selling something branded that I emphasize is Authentic.  However, another salesperson who sells the same things decides that you are interfering with his business. Creates a new account or several new accounts and starts reporting your listings.  Ebay bots immediately penalize your account which is OK. What I don't agree with is why do accounts that have never bought anything from me have the right to report my listings?  I understand that there is competition, but this is absurd. I can also create several accounts and start reporting accounts that I don't like.  We all lose from unfair competition, including eBay.

Yes, I said that I can create several different accounts. The account will be automatically restricted for a certain number of published reports. There is no limit to the accounts I can create. One account is created in a minute.

How about a bit more information? What were you selling that was removed as fake? Did you use your own description and pictures? 

While I don't doubt that there are some members who report "competitors," I am not of the opinion that sellers of authentic items report other authentic items. 

What I do believe though is that there are often sellers who list items they "know" are authentic but when removed as fake and pictures are posted, they are indeed found to have been correctly removed.

It's just not right for everyone to be able to report ads. If he bought from the seller, that's OK. But without buying anything and having the right to make such signals is ridiculous. Not to mention that the specialized team of eBay directly suspends accounts simply because it is the easiest. They don't want to check invoices, they don't want to read reviews left by buyers .....  I'm beginning to understand why eBay will never reach Amazon.

How do you know the item is not fake??

Of course that report button is on every listing... any one can report such.

Good clear pictures show a lot of information to those who know the item, know the brand and know what to look for!

eBay and Amazon are two very different animals.

What evidence has led you to the conclusion that a specialized eBay team will suspend an account only because it is expedient? What proof can you provide that a few bogus reports can

lead to the immediate removal of a listing? 

eBay has the ability to link accounts. So one individual with multiple accounts would not be able to wreak havoc on a competitor’s listing.

Quite easily. For example, I sell figures. I know what the real, authentic figures look like. When I see a photo of an "authentic" figure with a terrible paint job and a box that doesn't match the box of the one that I obtained from a legitimate source, it's very clearly a fake.
