I received a negative feedback the other day.
Technically, for me, it's no big deal, as I am fully aware I cannot please everyone. The buyer is entitled to their opinion, even though I believe their opinion is 100% wrong.
What frustrates me, however, is this buyer has left FIVE negative feedbacks in the past couple of months, verses leaving only ONE positive feedback during the same period of time. The last FOUR feedbacks she left were all negatives.
In all feedbacks left, this buyer leaves a negative about 40% of the time.
40% NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS LEFT !!!
I hate to point out the obvious to ebay, but this so-called "buyer" is nothing but a CONSTANT COMPLAINER.
I sincerely believe if a "buyer" leaves more than 10% negative feedbacks, they should be disallowed from leaving feedback at all.
Ebay, start tracking the negative feedback left on YOUR SYSTEM.

Sorry I just reread my comment and can see how it could be misinterpreted.
The second paragraph was related to feedback content.

I either deleted a paragraph or lost an entire post. The comment made sense as a follow up.

The only thing I ever include in my packages is a thank you note to the buyer. I don't mention feedback but I do sign it as
- My Name
(cherry*fizz on eBay) *not this ID tho*
I do it mainly 1. To thank them, and 2. so they have an easy reference of who it's from if they either need to get ahold of me (if they buy a lot of stuff or something, I guess) or if they want to leave feedback.
I usually put a sticker on the card, usually it's (go figure lol) a cherry, sometimes a cupcake, sometimes something else cute. I am waiting for the day that this offends someone and they leave me negative feedback. Maybe someone is on a diet or something and they don't wanna see that. If I do though, I'll take the neg, and will reply in a professional, positive way, even if it's kind of a non-apology that still looks good, like if they wrote they are offended by my card, I'm reply with Sorry you were offended. Thanks for your purchase!
the*dog*ate*my*tablecloth, I didn't mean this necessarily directed at you, you were the last reply in this thread that's been on my mind and I'm nearly delirious (err, is that spelled right? every way I write it looks weird) from lack of sleep. I hope I didn't offend you at all. I am going to run this package up to the PO and pray (no pun intended) I can fall asleep when I get home. 🙂 Have a great one!

In that case I'd simply throw it away . Obviously the seller has some strong faith and in his or her mind they were trying to do me a favor of sorts . Knowing that ,, I'd never neg the seller . It would be way too petty of a response . Tulips

Maybe the buyer really does constantly experience issues with sales. I've had problems with about 50% of purchases here this past year. The level of seller incompetence is astounding! You seem to think a buyer should keep quiet when they have issues and give the seller a pass. Maybe they only leave feedback when they have issues for the most part, this doesn't make them a complainer. Believe me, with every purchase I make here I see more and more why ebay needs to protect buyers and have put their policies in place, without them I can't imagine the fight to get issues corrected!Buyers always have the option of contacting the seller for a resolution BEFORE leaving negative feedback . It doesn't mean its mandatory just that they can if they desire . The only thing this buyer had to do is privately contact the seller / op and ask them not to include any extra materials if they ever decided to purchase from them again and problem solved . I'm also pretty certain that the buyer was fully aware it was a well meaning gesture on the part of the seller and the little extra's had zero impact on the item they purchased . To be able to still leave negative for the seller in spite of all that gives me the sense that the buyer is simply an unhappy person in general . IMO Tulips
Tulips, me too. That or they're having one heck of a bad day. 🙂

Cherry it wasn’t about you at all. It was about castle but I can see where the misunderstanding arose.

Reminds me of this woman on Live PD one night who called the police because she received an advert from a local car dealership in the mail. cherry fizz
We seen that episode ,, seen them all in fact . Didn't they discover she had mental health issues ? Some kind of paranoia because she believed the ads [ that everyone in the neighborhood also recieved ] had some hidden message ? Tulips

And just to point out before I go away in shame, I don’t agree with what the buyer did. Leaving the neg was wrong. I just throw inclusions out and move on. That’s what this buyer should have done.
We just don’t have the buyer here to talk to. Only the seller, so I am trying to stop the seller from making any further mistakes. Follow ups to feedback are more important than the feedback itself. Sellers need to consider the message they are sending to future buyers.

I knew what you meant. That sentence was addressing feedback, not the literature.

why does everyone keep assuming I making religious comments? I’m very open minded. I just don’t want extra things in my packages.not literature, tea or candies.
Sorry, I thought you were referring to the literature, not the feedback follow up!
My mistake, please accept my sincere apologies.
I have no problem with your posts, just presented my opinion regarding what I thought you meant! Sorry I had that all wrong.
Many don't like extra things in their order. I have no problem with that as well.
I'm not thrilled with some things because they just go in the trash. But I just shrug because I think the seller had good intentions.

I think it ended up that she had been arrested for making a bomb threat against that dealership and then she thought that their advertising was somehow them harassing her back. The officer called them to remove her from their mailing list (bless these guys, really) but explained that some of their mailing list advertisements are done by a 3rd party company so she may still get some, he could only stop the actual dealership from sending them to her. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she did have some kind of mental issue. That was in Nye Co., NV, right?
I LOVE this show so much!! If I could do it all over again I'd be in LE. It's my dream job. I was actually in school for it (would have been an older cop, like that show The Rookie, lol) but my health problems put a stop to pretty much everything the last few years. I love watching the job, I love the people, and there's some pretty nice eye candy on there, too. Craigmyle, Curley, many others hahaha. 😄 I like Officer Zendajas in El Paso a lot too. She was on Tom Morris Jr's podcast PD Stories and she seemed really cool. I used to not like her but I respect her a lot after hearing that.
Gosh, sorry for going somewhat off topic here lol.

No worries, that's ok! I just took message to mean the message of the literature, but you meant message as the message that feedback would send.
Thank you! I never want to offend anyone.

I get it, I just was kind of riffing off your post and didn't want you to think it was something personal or anything. 🙂 I always enjoy discussions when we don't all agree on everything. I like to hear all points of view.
