EBAY DOES NOT RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR HELP. CANNOT TALK TO ANYONE AT EBAY?

I made a request to have unfair feedback removed from an international buyer who bought 6 items. I tried to ship their items through Ebay International Shipping Program but after allowing me to print the label and ship off the item, they then informed me that the items needed to be returned to me due to those items were restricted for international shipping.

That's fine but they took over 3 weeks to ship back the package and recommended that I wait to receive it before refunding the buyer.

Buyer got **bleep** off and opened a paypal dispute and gave me 6 negative feedbacks, which has severely impacted my sales.

I requested feedback removal on Dec. 26. Now, almost 2 months later, no response from ebay. Cannot talk to a representative at all.

What is going on with Ebay Help? There is no help at all.

The phone reps do not work for eBay so don't bother with them. They work for a subcontractor out of Utah.

( A  pink recently posted that the phone reps are not subcontracted. A year or so ago, a different pink (Tyler) told me differently. )

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/How-do-I-contact-Customer-Support/m-p/32016431#M1783851 -> Automated Assistant, type AGENT -> enter. You will then get more options.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

I would suggest that you ask for the removal of only FIVE of the six negs.

That will help a little with your rating.

The reason is that those FBs were likely made at the same moment, and only one of them should be counted in your rating.

Unfortunately, there is nothing in the FB which would lead to it being  removed.

So the timing is your only likely way to removal.

If it helps any, eBay does not use FB to measure member accounts. Only buyers are likely  to see it, and while 96.7% is painful,  most buyers seem to think that 95% is a solid A.

Tyler did not tell you differently, either you or Tyler misunderstood the question/answer.

The people in Utah ARE eBay employees and always have been, outsourced support is in the Philippines and has been located there for more than a decade.

Yet you continue to include this misinformation in your posts on an almost daily basis.

The rest of your post about eBay support and how to contact them is fine, just drop the Utah misinformation from your boiler plate replies.

@maries_bay  in the meantime, you should post comments in a very diplomatic and super friendly style explaining what happened, or it might be too late for that, just saw it's been over 6 months ago 🤔

The buyer was complaining about you waiting to receive the items back before issuing a refund? That is what you are supposed to do. Feedback like that really doesn't affect your image as a seller. It makes the buyer look like a goof, especially when the buyer found it necessary to post the same thing 6 times.

It's the buyers' responsibility to know what they can and cannot import into their country. Or at least that's the way I view it. Lack of accountability has done a lot of damage to internet selling.

Take a deep breath, hold for a count of 10, release, and then move on with life.

Lawfully it's actually the sellers responsibility to understand import/export regulations and laws.  Can't expect for example 300 Million Americans to understand what can and can't be imported.  Food importers are a very good example like Italian Deli's and such.

As another example I was a contract to the US State Dept. post 9/11 working with the Asian Embassy.  My biz at the time was contracted to work with a certain nation's embassy associated with what went down on 9/11.  The Embassy staff did not place responsibility of the materials we were to send on their shoulders, import/export law between the US and said nation was our responsibility.  We had to select the products we thought applicable to the information they'd given us and make sure through the product manufacturers that it was ok to export to said nation.  There's hitch in all that as well as US Embassy on Foreign shores is considered US property until such point as its not.

Now even more interesting at the time US had soldiers and contractors on the ground in Iraq.  We received an order for an item that was from a drop shipped.  Place made informational CDROM's of myriads of public domain informations, maps, this/that, just buckets of different titles.  We sell, make $5 or $6 each, enter the orders at their web portal, pay and out the door they go.... NEVER a hitch, system worked flawlessly not that I can say they exactly sold like Grand Theft Auto or even GTA's sleeve LOL.  Place went under, big surprise there.

So we're doin' this other contract right with the State Dept literally at near highest level under Colin Powell's people's oversight yes?  My ex-lady was handling all that State Dept stuff, politician.  We get this order from an FPO for one of those CD's right?  What do I know?  I do what I always did, put the order through, mail the generated tracking number and go, "Wow!  $6 bucks!  In another two months I'll be able get a used tire for my truck Yahoo!!!!"

OH MY GOSH...

The CD was all about Wicca, the religion or what ever one please deem it.  It's off to an FPO military address that I've no clue where that is and turns out to be Iraq, an active US military zone chock full of Islamic folks.  Ooops.   You might say or preferably SCREAM, "DUDE!  WAY BAD PLAY!"  Just a tad restricted and OH BOY did we get a reaming...  Or shall I say, I did.  My ex, the politician handled it all with do grace and diligence with The State Dept. and service then proceeded to take on me where I might well have been more comfortable shall we say in Iraq.
