EBAY CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.! WHY IS SO HARD TO TALK TO A MANAGER IN THE U.S.A?

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://www.facebook.com/ebay

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

Nope.   You can try having them call YOU, but you can't call them.  I wouldn't even bother personally, given the phone rep/script kiddies' collective reputation for saying whatever will get you out of their hair, whether or not it's true.  They have a reputation for lying like rugs.  I'm guessing that if eBay can replace them all with Bots soon, they will.

EBAY CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.! WHY IS SO HARD TO TALK TO A MANAGER IN THE U.S.A?

Answer is they are lazy and corrupt. I asked them to step in and contact my seller for an auction I had won and not received my item, which was apparently never sent. Instead, they issued a refund and closed the request without any explanation of what happened, even though I won the auction, paid my money and waited weeks for an item that was never coming. Ebay needs to grow a spine and stop taking the easy, lazy way out and explain to buyers why we have been treated poorly!

It's not an eBay problem, it's a worldwide situation with customer service everywhere.  People have become entitled and want problems resolved instantly in their favor, even if the issue at hand is on them.  It's not cost effective to have employees answering phones, especially when answers are readily available online.

The only thing left to do is Neg the seller and move on.

Nope, and all you will get here and from ebay phone reps is nothing helpful. and they do everything they can to bury how to CALL them. When a buyer calls ebay requesting help with a seller, they just say 'that is between you and the seller and/or shipper'. as if ebay has no RESPONSIBILTY for the kinds of people they let sell on their web site.

eBay is neither lazy or corrupt but some buyers and sellers may be.  I'm guessing that you won an auction that the seller had started at a low price and you won at that low price.  However, the seller did not want to sell for that price (wanted more) so refused to ship.    eBay cannot force a seller to ship, all they can do is refund the buyer's money and give the seller a defect.

Your seller has 5 feedback as a seller, 3 positives, 1 neutral, and the negative you gave him. With the 66.7% feedback your seller has, if he keeps doing what he is doing, his days of selling on eBay are numbered.   Probably not the answer you hoped for but maybe it explains what happened.

Nope.  There are several ways to contact Ebay, however the Call Center was closed during the Pandemic and never reopened.  You can however request a call back.

There are times @erics_917 when you get what appears to be useless or incorrect information from Customer Service.  That may or may not be true.  Some think that because it wasn't what they wanted to hear, other think that because it is likely true.  I've always recommended that whenever you feel this has happened, try a different method of contacting Ebay.  You do have options.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I have seen your boilerplate reply to this question many times here, and it's just not helpful. The problem is not getting someone on the phone it's getting someone to give a **bleep** enough to help. They leave me in the lurch between the seller and the shipper.
