EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

As you are aware this new layout is awful. Data unneeded to see on a daily basis stuck in your face. Completely changed it from a page that was concentrated, straight to the point, and useable, had everything you needed, was not broken. The classic view for sellers promoted a perfect format needed to establish a productive, rhythm & flow for conducting a business of creating listings.  I am not sure who came up with this layout, obviously never listed anything as a seller.   Pretty much equal to taking all the gauges on your car dash and putting them behind the drivers seat,  and placing the owners manual where they use to be.  Completely destroyed a functional all inclusive layout from every stand point.  I am sure there are things some good things but, the objective is to decrease the amount of movements, clicks scrolls, actions, or placement of an action, etc. that are unnecessary on any product assembly line that disrupts or hinders a smooth flow and rhythm to get the product made.  Also have a full and quick understanding of what the whole system is doing and occurring changes at a glance, without having to go look for it.  Here as a seller we are making and producing saleable listings, which is no different than a tangible product, and the set-up and structure to preform must be viewed in the same manner.  If one thinks that this new page will increase the number of listings produced which in turn create money for both parties, which is the whole and only main point that really needs to be kept in mind, one is sadly mistaken.  The main point of manufacturing plenty of listings is lost,  with all the line workers force to deal with what the office people see & use.  Very disappointed to say the least, and dollar values across the board will undoubtedly for both parties will show this.  So why a concept to rearrange the assembly line which was working perfectly & producing a steady flow of listings is introduced, that I am completely puzzled by.  Looking at it, I cannot find a positive or coherent objective that they believe they have created.  If anyone on the staff can tell us I would really like to know, because I don't see it, and I have been trying and looking for it.

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

Sorry, I disagree.  It took a week to get used to but it works just fine.

@divwido

These people are not complaining about the seller's HUB.

They are complaining about the seller's PAGE.

They are two completely different things.

I used the BOTH - the hub and the page.

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

To:  hoteldel,

I have to say that your comment about the new selling page is very well said, and even more so.  I am "erked" to say the least, and it's created more work and is, in two words, "un-user friendly."  And that's being nice. The functionality of this new page is something else to be desired. Why? Comes to mind, would they do such a thing?  I dunno, but I am very much against this new selling page and it goes back to why fix something that isn't broke?  Wishing that ebay would take advice from their sellers...where are all the friendly links (?).

Be well out there,

redsrad

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

That's a good point. I'm sure there is a lot of useful information in the Seller Hub as a whole.

But instead of ONE PAGE with everything there is multiple tabs and links.

I can't see pertinent information on my landing or home page.

I can't perform daily tasks in an efficient manner.

I don't even like looking at it and I can't customize it. What I can customize is minor and inconsequential.

In my 20+ years on eBay this is the worst change I've seen. In fact, Seller Hub reminds me of the early days of e-commerce. **bleep** layout and a jumbled mess with no rhyme or reason to any of it.

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

The new version just hurts my eyes! Everything was convenient, compact and functional for daily work. I didn't need a Seller Hub more than a couple of times a month. Surely someone is comfortable with this, but we must have a choice! All these "spring updates" - spring exacerbations...
I'm upset all day.

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

I agree with you 100 percent   I do not need to see promoted listings   I need to see who is bidding when its ending  etc   I cannot even find unsold listings  it is wastes my time-Hence time is money    There are many platforms to sell on

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

Working just fine is not the concern, or issue.  The new layout creates far more busy time by the sellers, more clicks, more scrolls, etc...  Time equals money.  Therefor, the new layout was a very poor move on eBay's part.  My only guess is that they do not care what the "majority" of the sellers have to say, perhaps they are moving in a different direction and will no longer need sellers?  Would be nice for eBay to take ownership and explain... we do deserve and explanation.

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

YES Ebay is trying to put themselves out of business with this new Sellers page.

Been using Ebay for 23 years and I am now completely lost!

We have 260 listings as a small business and can only see 25 at a time??? Why?

before i could see 200 and easily scroll up and down.

Extremely disapointed to say the least!

Re: EBAY CLASSIC PAGE

It's horrible.  I need to relist and don't see an option to list multiples.  Must all relists be done individually ?  I don't see that happening!
