Duplicates one listing??

I list a item and is being duplicated twice?????? I delete the item with same number and relist and charged with another fee.

Where do you see the duplication? On the acknowledgement screen? Same number for both listings? Does it make it into search? Are you using the mobile App or desktop?

If this happens again, can you screencapture everything before you delete?

There was a rare moment a few months ago where the new listing appeared as two separate links on eBay's "success" screen.

Is this a case of a promoted listing being mistaken for a duplicate listing? (a PL will have the same item number.)

Desktop computer., same listing number, delete one it deletes both. have to relist, then charge a relist fee

I don't think eBay is capable of creating two listings with the same number, so it is likely just a display issue. As @berserkerplanet suggested, it may have something to do with promoted listings. If it happens again, don't delete. Instead, capture a screenshot of where you see the duplication.

A few weeks ago I was looking at one of my fave seller's store. I noticed she had 2 identical listings referenced, yet one had a different price. I actually contacted her to alert maybe a duplicate listing? No, it was the promoted listing plus the original listing. Not a "true" duplication. Guess my question now is...if I end my original listing (didn't sell) or viceversa the promoting listing, do they both end?

Thanks. it only shows if I log in . If i don't log in an search they do not appear. strange

It would be two different displays of the same listing, so yes, if you end either one, both displays of that listing would disappear.
