Hello,I had 50+ drafts, on my list, ready to work on. This morning, only 11 are there. Ebay does not have telephone help, at present.

Re: Drafts deleted by eBay.

Were they very old?  I know ebay only keeps them so long, either 60 to 90 days depending on what selling screen you use.

Oh oh. I think you are right. I have been starting drafts, for my collection, since February! A real waste, of time. 😞 Thank you!

I tried to click Helpful, thumbs up, and also Solution Accepted. My browser will not do it. Something to do, with Java. Sigh.

Re: Drafts deleted by eBay.

Drafts unfortunately expire in 30 days. You can save up to 250, but have to list them before the 30 days. It does stink to work on drafts, only to wake up and they are all gone. Even if eBay had representatives working, they will tell you there isn't anything they can do as this is their policy. This happened to me awhile ago and I called eBay and there isn't anything they can do in this case.

I attached eBay's listing link and it shows it there.

One thing you can do is create a template that will at least keep the text that doesn't change like; your page format, your shipping details, the way you format your titles and etc. Doing this will help in cases that you loose every draft you had. With saved templates, at least you don't loose everything and then have to start from scratch. You can create templates for all the different products that you sell. This has helped me on a few occasions.

Here is eBay's link to creating templates:

Hope this helps!

Ebay only keeps drafts for 30 days, not 60 or 90

Re: Drafts deleted by eBay.

I don't know about store sellers but as a non-store seller I can say from experience that I have never reached a limit on drafts...have had as many as 1500 at one time or another...

The drafts often don't even save for the full 30 days, and the pictures often disappear after a couple of weeks and don't even make it to 3 weeks.

You have to keep editing them to keep everything intact...

Re: Drafts deleted by eBay.

The length of time a draft is saved after 30 days is inconsistent, so the post 30 day (created date) drafts are subject to occasional purges.   If you have a draft(s) approaching 30 days, just create a duplicate of the draft and that new one will have a fresh 30 day clock.

Okay, my memory isn't what it used to be.  I know I've had some on for awhile that seemed longer than 30 days, but I probably have the days mixed up with unsolds.

sorry
