If I down grade to a basic store do I lose all my feedback? I have been selling on eBay for 26 years and I am now getting my items removed from 1,900 listing now down to around 500. eBay is no help. I’m trying to resolve this issue. This is all due to a defect, reading the law standards due to not having an item in my store. I sell on a different platform as well and cannot always remove it from eBay store quickly before it is purchased sometimes by the same person that bought it off of my other site that needed more than one of that item. I feel like they are forcing me out of eBay platform. I continue to pay the $60 for a premium store that now is only allowing me around 500 listings. My question is if I downgrade from a premium store to a basic store do I then lose all my feedback that I worked so hard for and building my store over these 26 years. I have had cases where people have items in their cart and favorite items only to have these items disappear from my store. Very frustrating to say the least. This is the first time in 26 years that this is happened. I have always kept my level up to high standards as a top rated seller now this happens.

So you mean that you had 3 defects in the last year? This resets every year and your selling limit does not decrease unless you have 3 defects or more within the year. Have you checked where the defects are coming from on your overview page?

You would retain your feedback if you change store levels. After looking at the items you offer, you probably didn't need to pay for a premium store even for 1900 items. The basic store offers 10k listings in certain categories which include collectibles & pottery among others.

No, you do not lose your feedback.

Changing your store subscription will have zero effect on your feedback.

No ,you won't lose your feedback. However, be aware that if you have an annual store subscription and downgrade it before the subscription term is over, you will face an
Early termination fee.

Thank you all for the replies. I will look into downgrading my store.

Here's a link to the Store TOS, which includes a chart showing the early termination fees if you have an annual subscription. The fee is based on the store level and the number of months left in your subscription. In your case, it makes sense to just absorb this expense rather than continuing to pay for a subscription at a level you don't need.

No, you do not lose your feedback. And furthermore, I closed the store I had opened once I realized that unless your volume of repetitive and similar items is so great, a store is simply another Fee based "feel good" moment for the Seller .. And, on the other side of that ever diminishing eBay "coin," it's simply another monthly Fee, or deduction from your bottom line ..

The reason I have one is to save a boatload of listing fees based on the number of listings I have. I never once thought of it as a feel good moment except for the monthly savings. It definitely doesn't make sense to pay for one with just a few listings.

I'm not sure what "feel good moment" even means in this context. A store starts making sense after a certain number of listings, and more sense if one has a lot of repeat business and individuals who actually shop one's listings.

I feel like they are forcing me out of eBay platform.

eBay is not "forcing" you out. Seems that they are just applying eBay policy for seller performance.

Thank you. I down graded to a basic store and paid the early termination fee.
