Yesterday I made a price increase on a item that is selling well for me.
Today I sold 3 of them so far. Nice! 😃
Have a great week everyone!

Selling great and in Hawaii!
I'm not jealous. I'd much rather be in Indiana 😞

When I had my retail stores I learned that sometimes increasing the price actually led to better sales. One time my daughter bought some cheap tchotchke that was supposedly marked down and "on sale" at a local Fred Meyer store and underneath the sale price tag was an older tag with an even cheaper price.

What most likely happened is when you revised the listing it showed up newest in search. Luckily for you many buyers are not savvy with Ebay and do not bother to see what you did. Congrats on the sale.

He's a good 1 hr 20 min due east of me. I'm in a suburb of Indy. Let me know if you need a ride from the Airport sometime- don't forget one of those Hawaii Starbucks Coffee Mugs you have hidden away 😉
Probably more practical/closer if you fly into Dayton.
Great to hear you are getting some sales!

Yesterday, I had my best day is in a looooong time! The only disappointing part is if the buyer doesn't pay for his 2 items in the next few minutes, I won't see that money until Monday. 😞 Hoping I can get some local pick up sales if that is the case. Enjoy the sales!

I found quite often, that increasing the buy-it-now price resulted in a quick sale. Who knows why?

Happens to my selling ID quite a lot.
Things that were previously listed at auction for $9.99 with a couple watchers but no bids, I raise the price by one penny, to $10.00, and there's a bidding war. On one small item where I did this, I ended up netting about $3.00 more than the starting price when I first listed it.
I can't begin to understand the psychology of buying. And I am affected too, as I often go into Target for just two things and come out with four full bags.
