Don't bother with trying to appeal the outcome of a case with facts. Seems the buyer always wins even when they flat out use false accusations just to get their money back. Ebay will side with the buyer regardless when presented with the facts. It's a waste of time and effort, so the best thing to do is report the buyer and see if and when anything will happen. I'm sure there are other sellers on here that have had the same problem  too. So have fun with all this my little chickadees.

It certainly is strange that eBay has better representation on Facebook than they do here. (paraphrasing)

Makes me wonder if those of us who don't use FB are left out in the cold.

@rckr43

A member can use, Facebook, Instagram or X.

Been moving that way, full steam since 2020. That is IF you want to converse with an actual eBay employee.

I started a FB account just to get ebay help once. It worked great and the problem was solved. I don't use the account otherwise. Just turn off all notifications or they'll send like eight a day. Remember your login if needed in the future. Chickadees welcome.

Bottom line. Ebay makes money on SALES. It doesn't matter to them WHO pays just as long as they GET paid!

GREED IS RAMPANT and ebay is a pro at it.

"Quicker," definitely.  "More accurate," not so much.

I disagree.  @inhawaii didn’t say the responses would all be more accurate, though.  You just have to sort out the dung from the gold.

I liked eBay so much more when they were a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity.

I am surprised you would send your $75,000,000 ruby sapphire by USPS Ground Advantage. I would have expected at least a Brinks delivery. lol

Whoda thunk?

A business who likes to get paid/make money.

I guess that makes all businesses greedy.

A little off-topic, I know, but I am trying to fathom how the opening post in this thread is somehow numbered 4...?

@scuby109

I'm sorry you are so upset.  It is hard to advise you on this without the details of what transpired.

********************************************************************

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://twitter.com/askebay

https://www.facebook.com/ebay

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

It has not been "outlawed".  POTUS can not pass a law, he needs Congress for that.

Not really.  Ebay has had their better trained CSRs on Social Media for years.

You don't have to use Facebook and still get to Ebay on Facebook.  You can set up an account on Facebook with minimal information and not making it public.

But then there is options on X and Instagram.

Yeah it has, and the effects are being felt everywhere ("we don't need no stinkin' laws").
