Does somebody have super bad luck? or could they possibly be a bad buyer using the system to scam sellers?

With the exception of the ones noted as no longer registered, all these sellers have decent feedback and only a few negatives. I have sent out thousands of dollars in cards and had no problems, but this guy just happens to get the one problem I have had? And he seems to be a magnet for problems?

Anybody think I might have a chance getting him booted?

This guy is a scammer and obviously full of **bleep**, if it was one or two, helk, maybe even 4 times this happened to this guy with gift cards I would give benefit of the doubt. This case though, I think he is a scammer. You might get lucky and get the "right" customer service person and they will see the abuse.
I wouldn't hold my breath though, unfortunately we all know that eBay will side with buyer most of times no matter what. I really hope this works out for you. Keep us posted on what happens. I wish I could give you a happy answer that yes buyer will get booted and you won't have to refund, but from reading others postings on here with similar problems, the buyer seems to always get away with it and do it again and again to other sellers. IT is unfair and sad. Sorry this happened to you.

This buyer needs to be booted! Don't give up. Keep calling until you get a U.S. rep that is willing to help you.

Don't forget to use the Ebay Resolution Center report buyer link https://spd.ebay.com/RBASellerHub.  Select buyer made false claim.  Claimed the item was not as described when that wasn't true.  Also I saw your negative feedback. You had a buyer that wanted the codes emailed and not shipped that is reportable too under "demanded something that was not offered in my listing" report a buyer option.  Should have selected "Requested a shipping service I don't offer or to ship to an address other than what eBay provided" since you ship only not email the codes plus you have ebay messages evidence that person was asking you to do this.  If you know something is reportable report report and report.

Report this guy, refer to the feedback in your report. I would also call to report him and to inform eBay what’s going on. I would try to cancel both cards immediately if you have the info.

Did you check their feedback before you sent the cards out?  I would have called Ebay BEFORE sending the items out.  If Ebay didn't address my concerns, I would have cancelled the order &BBL 'd them.   I noticed in this buyer's feedback at least one seller took that route and received a negative for it...

I guess at this point you could reply to the case with tracking.  Include that you personally confirmed all cards were included in shipment.  Note the habitual amount of INR cases the buyer has apparently opened according their feedback (& maybe let Ebay know you have printed out the feedback for your personal record).

Then let Ebay decide what to do.  They need to stop offering this buyer the Buyer Protection since they are obviously abusing the program...

It's good to see the enhanced Seller Protections Ebay announced in Spring Update at work.... LOL....

Looks like your buyer is mainly targeting those that send cards without tracking. Now they have figured a buy 1, get one free scam. Pure speculation on my part I admit.

If ebay was really wanting to protect sellers they would make this buyer`s status Non-Registered. We all know that probably isn`t going to happen. Best of luck to you though.

I would venture to guess as well that any seller who read that feedback would simply not ship.  Cancelling would likely give you a performance ding or two.  Waiting for the INR and simply refunding might be the way to go.   I think one INR ding is less dreadful than an "out of stock" strike.  I would rather have the red donut than lose money.

As far as ebay goes, for profiles like this the typical response is ...."maybe the buyer had thousands of transactions and only leaves feedback on the bad ones, thus this is a good buyer."  Since we cannot see anything to substantiate that claim we are left in the dust.

I do find it interesting that with so many "bad buyer experiences" the buyer is still around.  eBay says, they would go shop someplace else.  We wish they would.

Yup, there is the eBay answer, but seriously looking from the other side....   if you were a scammer would you be leaving this feedback for sellers?  Does not look a like typical scammers modus operandi.  Smart enough to be a scammer, but not smart enough not to leave a trail of bread crumbs?

I think that would be correct.  There are some buyers that still make the red donut threat, and still some sellers that fall for it even though the feedback counts for nada anymore.

I think you`d be surprised.  I belong to some groups that share some buyers feedback & feedback left for others. I`ve seen things that have left even me, speechless. IMO this is the result of buyers not being held responsible for ones actions and the result of sellers being told continually to suck it up, it`s the cost of doing business.
