Ganga, selling online is not rocket science, you just have to use common sense. I never took these little selling courses because I know how to read and follow rules.

Who claims selling school is a very important tool?
Seller school doesn't teach you how to take a picture and write a description.
If you can do that and you know how to pack and mail a package what else do you need to know? You list it and when it sells you ship it to the buyer ASAP. Feedback is optional. I leave it when the buyer pays. Millions of sellers here never went to school to become an eBay seller.

Why don't YOU tell us about your experience with this course?

I've thought about dropping my Ebay sales and just open a school just for Sri Lanka, it's that important.

Yes they will teach you how they allow you to be scammed and how you should like it and talk about how great eBay is. I would not waste my time.

The best free selling lessons would be to cruise the threads in this forum for a while before selling.
Check out "Selling", "Buying", and "Shipping" to get the gist of it, and ask questions.
The advantage of learning this way is that you will see how things really work here, what you will be dealing with, and how to avoid some pitfalls.
It's a true street education.

A course on USPS or UPS use and protocols would be handier. Any official ebay stuff is usually broken, incomplete or misleading and I'd steer clear...

If you are brand new to selling on EBAY I suppose this online course would be helpful to learn the basics. Most of the important things you will learn through experience once you start selling.
You should understand all the different fees that you must pay. When you list item (you pay listing fee every month...over and over). When you sell item (you pay one-time selling fees) based on purchase price of item + shipping costs + sales tax) plus 30 cent handling charge. If you "promote your listing" you will pay addition fee (when your item sells). If your customer is from "different country" (you pay "international fee").
Also you should understand EBAY Money Back Guarantee (supersedes "no returns" policy) if customer claims "not as described, defective, counterfeit" (you are forced to give full refund) plus postage BOTH ways. Customers are NOT required to prove their claims.
Also you should be aware there different types of scams going around. Scammers target new sellers and "high value" items (scammers wants items they can easily resell). Customer can get your item and then "reverse credit card charges" (keep item and your money). If you get scammed there is no protection.

Can not reiterate this advice more ^^^^^^^
All new Sri Lankan sellers need to research everything they can about ALL area’s of eBay not just Selling
.
It is not just a matter of list, sell, send - you need to learn what to do when a customer wants to return an item, (and if the seller is drop shipping this can be a headache) and what to do if a customer claims an item is not received - again a drop shippers nightmare.
I have a read a number of posts where the new seller has no idea and is getting hit with negative feedback and unresolved cases being handled by eBay (which dings a sellers account) because they do not know the processes to avoid this.
Read, read, and read some more is the only way new sellers will survive the first month.

You are not a seller, and while you think the school is beneficial, please don't advise that someone "need to take place in that online causes"
