Hello,
I'm curious about the "Send Offer" feature. I recently sold two items in response to offers I sent to prospects. I was charged an Ad fee for both of these transactions?
Both listings are promoted. If prospect accepted a "Send Offer" and generated a sale, why am I being charged the promoted listing Ad fee? Is there a "Sponsored" tab in these email offers that would generate a fee if prospect accepts? I'm confused and not a little suspicious of another money grab from eBay. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My understanding of promoted listings is anytime a buyer clicks on this listing and buys, you will be charged the fee. I highly doubt any effort on your end to sell the item would negate this fee.

You were charged because the buyer had clicked on that promoted listing within the last 30 days.
If a buyer clicks on your promoted listing, we only charge the ad fee if they buy your item within 30 days.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was under the impression that you were charged a fee only if the buyer clicked on the "Sponsored" listing to make the purchase. I should have done a little more research to make sure I understood the process.
