If eBay ends the listing you will get the normal email for an ended listing.
If you don't want to change the listings and you don't want eBay to end it then do as they suggest, make some small revision to the listing (Description, Title, Price) and it will probably be left alone.
If you do nothing at some point eBay will end the listing. Might be a good thing since a listing that has been up that long will be demoted in Best Match search, if you end it and Sell Similar it will at least have a fresh history.

Yes, delete it and relist.

My books are long-tail listings and I see a few of those every month.
The oldest book I've sold had been up for over 14 YEARS. (I have a slip of paper in each book that tells me where and when I purchased it, and how much I paid.)
When I see one of those, I take it down and move it to my Unsold List.
It can rest there for up to 90 days, then on a quiet day I will upload it again, after checking for errors and updating prices.
Usually I add Best Offer, sometimes Promoted Listing (at 1%).
No biggie, just housekeeping.

Hello .
Thank you for the message .
I had a thought and i have ended the listings and added them again as sell similar cause in the past they ended a listing and i lost my mind cause the description was so long and i would have to re write it again all over . like i always do i go to manage active listings and add notes on the ones i have to end each month and i can see the listings in my all selling when i am gonna end them . in the past it showed me the (( This listing hasn't had any sales in at least 16 months. Please consider updating it )) but i ended them before it showed me and its just now i forgot to add the month i supposed to end them and i did not the this . so yeah the best option is this . end them and sell similar . thank you

yes best option is that . like i said on the other reply i just have to add note to the ones i have to end in the next months so i can have a look out before ebay removes them .
Thank you
