Did you mean:

Does eBay employee third graders?"

From my buyer's payment confirmation e-mail:

Your buyer has confirmed the payment of $24.00 + $4.80 shipping, it’s time to pack up your item and ship it out. You selected 2 days handling time, so make sure you send it by .

so make sure you send it by .             ????

How unprofessional can eBay be?  We deserve better.  Somebody does.

Re: Does eBay employee third graders?"

They might employ them, but they don't employee them.

I did not realize that it was "unprofessional" for eBay to remind sellers that they had committed to a specific handling time.

As a seller, I have chosen to have the same handling time for all of my items. But for a large seller who may have many different handling times, I would think that reminder might actually be pretty helpful.

I believe the original poster was complaining about the faulty grammar.  My last name is not Chomsky and I am not here to disambiguate sentences.  It is certainly not the first or second time I have seen Ebay responses that either have poor grammar or are just poorly worded, unless of course ambiguity was the purpose all along.

I always imagine Mr Rogers talking, when I read or see those idiot "ship now" emails, especially when you're a seller for 22 years.....😄

To the best of my knowledge that message is bot-generated, which means it doesn't differentiate between a seller who has been selling on eBay for 22 years and one who has been selling for 22 minutes.

YEP! Just saying the tone comes across as a bit condescending, IMO. But I don't even click the email to read them anyways. 😎

Re: Does eBay employee third graders?"

Maybe the OP is posting because the email didn't specify a date? It just left a blank space? Just guessing.

Their 3rd grader bot also placed a space between the last word of the incomplete sentence and the period.

Who built that bot?

Yes, ebay's new sensitivity policy

supports diversity & inclusion of 3rd grader bots

Those emails get deleted without reading. I know I sold something, that's what my seller dash is for.

The bots have spoken, you expect a real person? Good luck with that.

As for Ebay employing 3rd graders....Shhhh....no one is supposed to know that.

Sorry, I thought the poster was complaining about the tone, and had just added the ??? as a placehold for the deadline.

My paid notifications  all say "Make sure you send it within 3 days, the handling option you selected in your listing."

There are no question marks and they make perfect sense to me.
