Do you have any success with sending offers?

How often do you send out offers to potential buyers, if ever? And what is your success rate? How much of a discount do you give normally? The bare minimum, or a nice rounded number discount? 

I had to stop, because my success rate non-existent, and the one taker I had, surprise surprise, was a deadbeat non-payer. So I had to wait 4 days to close it, and now I have almost 100 eligible items to send offers for.

I wish automatic payment was a thing for this.

I personally do not put the "Best offer" option in my listings because of what you mentioned.  However, if I get a "send offer" as someone may be watching the item, I have had some success.  I'd say about 50% do accept and pay right away.  Just my experience.

28% of our sales are from best offers and 22% are from "Seller initiated offers".  So approx 50% of our sales are form either a best offer received or us sending one !
