Do not send a second invoice to a buyer if you have signed up Automatically Cancel Unpaid Items

If you have signed up for "Automatically Cancel Unpaid Items" the unpaid item is supposed to be canceled by Ebay after 4 days (96 hours).  However, if you have a problem with the buyer saying they never received the invoice or the invoice says to pay a different amount and you call Customer Service for assistance and the CS Rep instructs you to send another invoice, Do Not Send Another Invoice!  If you do the 4 day clock will start over using the time stamp of the new invoice.  So now instead of having 4 days to start a claim you will  have to wait 8 days.  This just happened to me and I immediately opted out of the Unpaid Assistance Option.  I do realize that by doing this I am going back to waiting 2 days to file a claim and waiting 4 days for payment for a total of 6 days waiting but I am obviously more reliable doing this manually than eBay is at doing it automatically.

They have changed the way unpaid item cases are handled.

I am aware of the change.  I am alerting people to not send multiple invoices because it effects the clock starting over on the Upaid Item Assistant start time.
