We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent..
Your reference ID: 2-188697771369
Here are the listings you reported that are included in this decision:
Item: 316021711896 The Velvet Underground & Nico Andy Warhol Reel to Reel Tape 7.5 / 7 1/2 IPS TEST
eBay item number: 196880910406 (my lIDENTICAL isting) REMOVED...WHY?

Who knows why, I don't.
The listing you posted the item number for was sold Dec 7.

I think you got a good answer that explains why on your previous thread:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/spiteful/m-p/34820983#M2496596
We can't see your listing because it was removed, but you probably had wording in your listing that suggested your item was a bootleg.
Edit: Nobody here works for eBay. This is a member-to-member forum, for experienced users to help others.
eBay is not going to tell you exactly what triggered their suspicions, because that would help you figure you how to get around the policy.
Your listing was discussed on some VU forums online, and believed to be fake.

what wording? be factual, not probably...are you from the trust and safety ebay?

Listen nobody here works for Ebay. This is a community of your peers who are buyers and sellers which give advice or answer questions. The issue you have was decided by an Ebay agent. Ebay agents are not experts. They go by the content in your listing. There was something that violated the policy. Nobody here would know why your listing was removed but the other wasn't. We can only give you ideas. So when you say "be factual, not probably" that's not possible without seeing the listing.

Tape was sourced from a production master or broadcast master tape he worked with
which makes it sound like a copy.....not an original.

In your other thread it was pointed out that perhaps your item was a bootleg or copy of the original and the Vero right holder had your listing taken down.
Either case it is over and done. Stop rehashing what can't be undone.

The Velvet Underground & Nico - Andy Warhol Reel to Reel Tape 7.5ips 4T - STEREO, READ, Play Tested, Superb Analog, The reel comes from the estate of a radio broadcast ceo's collection throughout the 1960-90s. Tape was sourced from a production master or broadcast master tape he worked with,...study the pics as this is part of the description.
Your description (quoted above) is not exactly the same as the other seller's. He said his tape came from his grandfather, who was a sound engineer. It was probably also a bootleg, as the album was apparently never released in this format.
Your item specifics were also different. I saw a cached copy of your listing a few days ago, which is no longer available. I don't remember exactly what was different.
It's like the two of you were speeding on the highway. The cop pulled you over; he got away. Them's the breaks.

It can be frustrating to find one’s listing removed when others are not. Of course you want to know why, but so far you have rejected the likely reason.
Such removals happen regularly and have nothing to do with discrimination. Much of it is automated. There are hundreds of millions of listings in a vast ocean of anonymous sellers. It is far more likely the listing had a violation that triggered a removal than eBay singling you out.

"Spiteful" and "discrimination" sounds to me like you're taking this a little personally, when eBay actually does not know any of us, nor do they care. They're a corporation - corporations care about profit, that's why they exist.
But "sourced" sounds like copied - eBay is so big that their enforcement can be uneven. I've had stuff pulled that was just ridiculous.

What reason did they give in the email they sent you?

It is different when a Vero member reports your listing vs. when an ebay member does it, the Vero member (once verified) has an undeniable advantage here, their reports are taken seriously and the listing removed due to the 'safe harbor' clause.
