On a different account, when I have multiple of the same items, I have been able to list it - and just click the option to allow a discount when a customer buys multiple of the same item. I recently created a new account (for my items that appeal to a completely different demographic), and primarily use categories within ebay motors (powersports parts). I would love to give people a break of they need more than one of an item - but the option isn't there. At all. I've searched high and low, looking for any link I can find to enable this function, but it doesn't exist. Is it not an option within ebay motors? Is it an option that becomes available when the account is open longer? (it's been about 2 months) Can anyone help me with this?

Does your other ID have a Store? I'm under the impression you need to have a Store Sub to access Promotion Manager.
Without one I think you can only discount shipping if a buyer purchases additional items from the same listing.
Maybe Motors is different, I don't know anything about that part of eBay.

Just a little opinion/suggestion.
Every time buy something from a seller who offers quantity discounts,
the discount is so miniscule that I never take advantage of it.
EXAMPLE:
Buy 1 = $17.95
Buy 2 = $17.65
Buy 3 = $17.35
Even though I only need one, i might consider buying extra IF he price was right.
But I'm not going to buy extra just to save a few cents.
