It is NOT the sellers; that is an 'ebay' coupon and it varies/rises depending on the cost.

"All those wonderful Ebay sellers" aren't the ones offering the discount. It's ebay's way of introducing and encouraging buyers to use Venmo. 

As a seller, you get the full amount (less fees) that your items sell for.

Maybe instead of being upset what others are selling theirs for, take a look at your listing and revise it to what it actually will sell for. Some could argue that the condition it is in, you are asking double of what it's worth. YMMV 

Get in the holiday season and give someone a deal on it or at least try to sell it for what it's worth. 🎄
