I was curious to see if any of the Trump NFT's were here yet and yes there are a few, as well as other NFT's. I thought digital items were not allowed here. Am I wrong?

Some digitally delivered goods are allowed as long as the seller has the right to sell them and the seller follows policy:

Trump aside, I just don't get this NFT thing. I think I'm finally getting to that age.

The idea is anyone can own a Mona Lisa replica but there is only one Mona Lisa. Same can be done with digital art because of computer coding. Best I can explain. I personally believe it'd a fad.

I kinda sorta understand the logistics, I don't understand the appeal at all.

The most important thing to know at the moment is that sales of NFT's are down about 95% from the peak about 2 years ago. That is everywhere not just on eBay.
As for the "appeal", it's pretty much the same as with crypto, some people thought it was the route to the join the 1%ers.

The NFT thing peaked about two-three years ago - I find the entire episode with those 'cards' to be hilarious. Having said that, they are actually property - if nonfungible - and can be resold.

And supposedly they all sold out. Dang, where is my Wonder Woman costume, I could use the money.

What's amusing is that people with more money than brains were dropping millions on these...um..."things" and dummies like me saw this crash (crypto or NFTs) coming a mile away. People still like to be able to actually see our touch things they buy. I know, weird eh?

What if I want a "fungible" version?

But is there only one (coded) copy of each of the Trump "art" pieces? Like say the 'cowboy' one for instance, just one copy that someone got for $99?

There are multiples of each.
But you can't pick which one you want, you pay your $99 and get a random selection from the set. IF you can access it - complaints are that buyers cannot access their NFTs.
I'd better stop here.

Uh-oh, apparently the 'bodies' (costumes) are images stolen straight from online shopping ads. Like the cowboy one even has the model's hands and everything.

You don't need a real custome. You just need a picture of your face and then everything else can be faked/drawn or whatever is the word.

agree! you're very diplomatic, wish I were. It's the most embarrassing he's done this week. Why is he still running around loose. The poor man is not really here anymore. Seems like his kids can see this too & do something to protect himself from himself. just wow.
