Sold 2 like items at $7.25 flat rate shipping each. Ebay asked for $14.56 from the buyer. What is the extra 6 cents for?? Will be combining and refunding some shipping anyways since I sent an offer, buyer accepted, and they paid without realizing ebay invoiced them for double shipping.

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying or what happened, but no one does math, computers do math, and they don't make mistakes. Usually the problem is that eBay failed programming class.

I got in trouble the last time I posted an item number. Padded Flat rate shipping envelope is $ 7.25 as I do not print postage. Buyer is in the US so the form of currency is not the problem. Who can I contact about this? I know it is only six cents but a lot of the time shipping is calculated on my items and I didn't necessarily check to see if what I collected was what the post office charged me. In other words I may have been collecting more than needed and ebay is earning money off of the extra because of their wrong calculations. And my buyers are being overcharged.

According to the community manager on the weekly chat you can post an item number for help
Post #99

You can post item numbers if the intent is not to shame others.

I had posted an item number to try and make a point about how ebay's search works. Wasn't shaming. Just wondering why that particular item showed up when it did not match all the keywords. Still got in trouble. Not necessary to post my item number. I had 2 identical items for sale and individual shipping was $7.25. Buyer purchased both and was invoiced by ebay for $ 14.56.

Not trying to make you post numbers, just making you aware that Alan says we can post item #'s for help purposes .
So back to shipping
Just trouble shooting
Your thinking they charged the flat rate of $7.25 X 2 but I am seeing you have calculated shipping
To me in NJ Ground $9.56 & Priority at $9.85
Try going into your shipping tab and change the zip to your buyers , see if it adds up as one of your calculated shipping charges to the buyers zip.
