Delivery confirmation with a numeric code

I read that Ebay gives buyers a 6-digit numeric code when they buy an item for local pickup, and they can provide that code to the seller as a confirmation of delivery.

Has this feature started working yet?

Are buyers who are doing local pickup actually being given this code yet?   Or is it just something that's in the works?

I didn't listen to the Podcast but I doubt this thing is ready to roll yet.......

I would think a regular announcement would be made when it is.

I just sold something with local pickup and the buyer did get a numeric code. 

I don't quite know what to do with it, since I use ebay by logging into their website, not an app.  But I put it in as a tracking # and put down "local pickup".
