Regarding your issue... how long before you ship, what shipping method do you use and where is your buyer located? Hopefully, a poster with insight will happen by... and venture a guess.

Estimated times show in the listing.

Look up tracking information.

Where is the customer?

What service did you choose?

Where are you?

Does the carrier service the customer's location or will they be sub-contracting?

Is there a border?

Will there be customs assessed at the border?

Is the address a PO box or equivalent or just a street address?

Did the seller pay for Signature Confirmation?

You can also ask the carrier who shipped the item. We do not have any clairvoyant information to he[p you with this shipping question.

It can vary widely, even using the same mailing option.

Some of my more recent mailing times - From Florida - mailed at Post Office:

Media Mail: 3 days to OH, SC, CA

                         4 days to PA, OK

                         6 days to NJ, CA

First Class:  3 days to NJ, CA

                         2 days to MA

I've also had PRIORITY mail take 7 days to Atlanta.

Don't count on First Class to be much faster than Media.  I've had some 1st Class take a week or more.

The longest was a Queen CD delivered to NYC... 32 days Media.  Well after they were refunded.

     As others have noted there is no way to tell.  reallynicestamps  covered the variables pretty well the only couple of things I would add are did it go through a freight forwarder or the eBay International Shipping Program.  

     You are in Sri Lanka so I cannot comment on the efficiency of your local postal service or what options are available to you for shipping. If you are drop shipping that too has many factors that may impact the delivery time.

Why not buy something on eBay and see how long it gets to you? Problem solved.

Then there are known places like Memphis Tn and sometimes Chicago Il where packages just seem to sit on the loading dock for what seem like forever.  Packages don't have to be going to those cities, they just have to pass through them to get to the next station.
