What does this actually mean? "Deferred Fee Payments: When we asked how we could help, many of you shared that help with cash flow and flexibility with payments was top of mind. For that reason, we are deferring most selling fees for eligible Store subscribers for a full 30 days"

"Deferred" means that you still have to pay all your fees, but eBay will wait an extra 30 days before collecting them from your payment method.
It is intended as a cash-flow benefit, but it is pointless and nothing more than a "feel-good" token gesture to make you think that eBay is actually helping. With the way things are going in America, if you have cash-flow issues right now, you are REALLY going to have them in 30-days.
So, basically, that's no benefit at all ... it is just moving the pain 30-days down the road.

There is supposed to be more info tomorrow as I understand it....... but that sentence to me would mean "selling fees" = fvfees are due on May lst rather than April 1.....for example..........
But I think in reality they may mean the entire monthly bill would be deferred....... Sellers are supposed to get more info.........

Free handouts are never guaranteed if that's what you are looking for. That wagon is getting pretty full up. Good luck!

The term "most" has me concerned. And as I understand it, this is only for sellers with a Store Subscription.
Deferring will only allow me more time to get through a mandated lockdown for my business, not actually keep my ebay business open nor my employees employed.

Maybe you should read the next paragraph of the notice!
If you are an eBay Store subscriber and could use help with your payments, check back here or your email on Wednesday, March 25, for complete details and how to request support.
You can speculate all you want as far as the details but it would make much more sense to wait until the time mentioned above to see what is actually going to happen.
I really don't get all this begging for assistance given that most small time eBay sellers can continue to operate their business while millions of others are seeing an instant end to their income. Sure you might not see the same level of sales as you had a few weeks or months ago it's still a lot better than having your income cut to zero.
Into your life it will creep

You can look at it that way I guess. Or you can use the 30 day deferral to buy inventory and get it listed as fast as you can. It will certainly do more good than complaining.
