I had a buyer in Japan win an item through Buy It Now. I need to send an invoice to reflect the international shipping cost but the only address I see is in Japanese. I've sent several emails to the buyer asking for an English version of their address so I can send an invoice. So far no reply. Any suggestions?
The shipping charges to Japan will be the same no matter where in Japan you are shipping to so you don't need the exact address (until you ship of course).

Will it not let you send an invoice with the address in Japanese? Are you using Canada Post? I've sent various parcels through through them in situations like that and as long as the country was written in English, it was fine.
If this is for those plastic cups, I would use small packets international. There is no tracking however I've never had a problem sending an item to Japan.
Japan isn't affected but there are a number of countries that Canada Post is not accepting packages to because of temporary service disruptions. For now, you might want to limit your sales to Canada and the US and perhaps a few other countries.
