I can't recall the thresholds, but if you sell at a certain volume over a 3-month period, then your ratings are based on 3-months worth of performance instead of 12 months.
So just sell a bunch of cheap stuff at deep discounts (Americans love cheap stuff at deep discounts), and you'll soon find your ratings based on 3 months.
