Day 2 with no functionality.

Win 7, either Chrome or Firefox

I'm less inclined to think it was my fault because I deleted some old templates. If Ebay let me delete these without any warning it os on them but I think it is just coincidence . (I"ll never know since there is no technical support on Ebay.

Post a screenshot of the issue. Use Alt+Printscreen button capture a screen shot into the copy buffer of your computer of the error.

Then just paste it into a reply.

Alt+Printscreen will only screenshot the current window and put the screenshot into the copy/paste buffer.

Keep in mind a screenshot will display everything on the screen, including any open tabs, your bookmark bars, etc. There may be things on the screen you'd rather others not be able to see. It's better, IMO, to use a snipping tool to capture an image of just the pertinent information.

If you use a screenshot, you may want to paste it into Paint, or whatever is available on Win 7, and crop the image to exclude anything you'd rather keep private.

BTW, continuing to use Windows 7 may be a part of the problems you're having. That's a very old version and could well be inadequate for the platform.

It might be a contributing factor, but it is unlikely to be the cause of the problem itself.

Currently about 11% of all Windows users worldwide are still using Windows 7, so if this was a Windows 7 issue, most likely there would be lots of similar complaints showing up in the community regarding this.

It would certainly be a good idea to try using "sell similar" on a different device to see if the problem still occurs.

I appreciate the input and I'll test this out further this evening and provide results.

I've come up with workarounds so I can at least get my new auctions up tonite and I need to blast these out today seeing as I lost half of yesterday.

I just did a Sell Similar on one of the new listings from the new template yesterday and it just spins on the blue wheel of death and finally after several MINUTES lands on this page, screen shot underneath

I have a horribly slow WiFi connection--almost as bad as dial-up--and I get that screen all the time. Have you checked your internet connection/speed?

I just posted a number of listings and had no problems or issues using the sell similar option. I am on a desktop computer using Chrome Version 109 and Windows 10.

Using the PrintScreen button alone will indeed do that, capturing everything on your monitor, but pressing Alt+PrintScreen instead (holding down the Alt key while pressing PrintScreen) will capture only the current window, leaving out everything else. This is very useful for capturing popup windows without dragging in the entire background as well.

You can compare the difference between PrintScreen and Alt+PrintScreen by opening a window in Paint and pressing Ctrl+V to paste in the entire view you just captured.

Sometimes unplugging and waiting 15 seconds and replugging the router will "awaken" my wife and I can proceed with whatever I was doing online. Try that. Also try signing out and signing in. Yesterday I listed several sell similar items and everything was fine.

No problems here either on Windows 8.1 with either Chrome or Firefox.
