Custom Packing Slip 'Note to Buyer' Question

Does anyone know if there's a way to get customized packing slip changes to be the default? 

i.e., under Note to Buyer, instead of picking one of ebay's thank you notes, I checked off and filled in my own "Personal Note"  - and that worked nicely. However, next time, I had to re-click "Customize" to have that note show up, otherwise it reverts to the ebay standby. 

It's not major, but yet-another extra step now making order fulfillment that much longer....

There is ZERO reason to disallow our ability to edit packing list messages. 

I want my customers to know they are important to me.  

None of the canned response options are suitable and I have to make my own packing list on a different sheet of paper.

Does anyone know if you can set the "Note for buyer" to default to "Personal note"?  My Packing Slips continue to default back to "Pick a thank you note"
