Creating a listing from a product in another country, sells in that country?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to create a new listing based off of another listing I found in Canada (I live/sell in the US). When I edit my draft, I'm redirected to eBay's Canadian website, and it appears that my listing is going to Canada rather than the US. I don't see any way to redirect eBay back to the US so I can create my listing there. Is this just a bug with eBay or am I missing something?

Are you using sell similar from the original listing?

Yes, I believe that's the function. Basically when I was viewing the listing, there was button that said something to the effect of "sell an item just like this" or something along those lines. Then it starts a new Quick listing with all of the info filled. Really useful, I just don't understand the country lockdown. I eventually just created a new listing from scratch, and copy/pasted the info over.
