Not sure if I remember where I read it, but it was something about something not being carried over the next day, I think it was unspent budget or clicks.
If I am setting a daily budget of 5 dollars in priority advertising, am I spending 5 dollars flat per day or only paying for clicks?
Also, my max cost per click setting is at 25 cents, but I am seeing CPC fees of higher than 25 cents on my financial summary, what is the explanation for this?
Edit: after adding up my fees thus far it does seem like the fee ends up being a flat 5 dollars per day. The CPC is just an average cost per click, so some fees will be higher than 25 cents even if you input 25 cents into your max CPC setting.

Daily budget is max your campaign can spend.
Leftover doesn't transfer to next day.
You pay for the clicks.
I'm not sure about what you are talking about higher.
Maybe you are seeing the deductions that are combined. When it deducts if you had 2 clicks and paid 10 cents per click then it will show -0.20

To your edit it's not a flat.
If you lower your bid down to 2 cents a click I'm sure you will have leftover.
You are just maxing out your budget. When you hit daily budget your campaign turns off until the next day.

Ok so if there is left over in terms of budget then I am paying less than 5 bucks on that day yes?

Oh it's probably multiple clicks on one item then.

Yes. I have a priority campaign that has a 100 dollar budget but my max bid is very low so I end up paying less than a dollar a day.
