we have all heard the warnings about buying coins on Ebay. This is a warning on selling coins. I sold 20 Morgans for $660.00. Buyer paid and I shipped the coins to him. He told me that he wanted his money back or exchange them for another roll. I told him that he is mistaken and he told me he had them verified at a coin shop. He complained to Ebay and returned counterfeit coins to me and kept mine. He wanted Ebay to return the money. How can a seller be careful about that? You can be ripped off buying or selling coins on Ebay.

It is a problem with the way Ebay processes Return Requests. They tend to always believe or back the buyer, not the seller.
Your only choice here is to file a Police Report. Gather all your information in hard copy form as well as electronic so you have everything. You need to be able to prove what you are saying.
Then if you use USPS to mail these items, file a complaint with USPS. It is a Federal Crime to use USPS as part of your fraud.
Now go back to Ebay and appeal the claim. Give them the Police Report number too. Very important stuff. Ebay typically pay more attention when a Police Report is filed.
Good luck.

You contacted the US Secret Service with the name, address and phone number of this person correct? Let them know so they can get the counterfeits from you and go after the counterfeiter.

All of the suggestions offered, plus do your reporting on the eBay Facebook Business page, where you might even get some positive results -- contacting the eBay "Help & contact" phone number is largely a waste of time.

There is nothing a seller can do to eliminate the risk of selling on eBay. To mitigate the risk, my best advice is to study the policies (and the eBay User Agreement). Sellers need to know as much as the scammers do about eBay policies, because those can affect one’s ability to be successful here.
