What would be the optimum wording order and presentation for this item title for the search engines to find the listing? Do the commas effect the search engine? What should come first? The part number or the manufacturer? Any other insights?
Panduit CBXD6IG-A Surface Mount Box, 6 Port, Gray
"Panduit" is the manufacturer
"CBXD6IG-A" is the part number
"Surface Mount Box" is the basic description
"6-Port" number of ports in the box
"Gray" is the color
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards -- calntom

You've got it in the right/best order IMO. Remove the commas, they are useless in a title. Not searched, wasted space. If you still have characters left over at the end, you can add other words that a buyer might use to search for that item.

I would add the word: Mini-Com to the title

Lose the commas. That's according to eBay https://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/title_desc_ov.html
I think the way you list looks pretty good overall.
I list:
Brand name
Style/Model Name
Item
Color
Quantity if more than 1
Measurements
Part No./UPC/Model #
Part No location can vary some. If that's how your buyer is looking it up, then I put it higher placement. I also tend to capitalize the Item/Style/Model Name so it jumps from the rest of the listing and sometimes qty
Some will say the first 3 works are the most important - others say the first 6

If I were selling a leather belt
Calvin Klein BRAIDED/WOVEN Leather Belt Brown Men's 36"
Calvin Klein BRAIDED Leather Belts SET OF 3 Brown Black Tan Men's 36"
Look at Solds. Get a general feel of what works and how the successful ones do it. Every niche has its own set of buyers who look things up a certain way.
I would put the size/qty of the Brady tape in the title. 1"x50"
Instead of NATURAL MOUNTED HEAD CABLE ZIP TIES 11" Inch (500), I'd probaby list
11" Cable Zip Ties NATURAL MOUNTED HEAD 500 Qty
