Spent nearly 1 hour trying to get a answer to a problem regarding a refund to a buyer. Nowhere was there any reference to solving the issue. Finally found "we will call you in 1 minute" . It has now been over a hour later, no phone call. The automated help for the most part is no help. We are paying this company for our usage of their software and when a problem arises that is not covered in any of the 'suggested' articles to read, what are the options of a seller, other than perhaps finding a different service that can at least make a effort to be helpful. In the past there was a technical problem that was somewhere within eBay's software, spent about 10 hours total talking with several different representatives that never had a answer, but did send the issue several times to IT. If that problem raises its ugly head again, what are my options for getting to someone who can at least direct me to, who may at least look into the problem. This no phone help, is now worse that trying to get a resolution through the USPS, at least they once in a great while answer the phone.

you could try coming here 1st to see if anyone on the boards can help.
Most of the sellers that help on these boards have been selling a long time and they will give you honest answers (unlike CS)

I have been selling since 96, and have over 10,000 feedback. So I am aware of the majority issues and how to either solve them or find a work around. Thank you for your response.
I received a email from eBay with the following message:
Thanks for your request to receive a call about your account zooman. The phone number is the same as it was in 96, there was no call received, I had a phone in my hand the entire wait and there was no other calls received or waiting during the time. eBay lied, there was no attempt made to contact me, period. How do you get around that kind of service?
We tried to contact you, but weren't able to reach you at the phone number on file, because either:

Many of us are also long-term sellers, we just post with a posting ID.
Is there something we can try to assist with, help you discern? @klhmdg is correct - lots of friendly, knowledgeable folks who post here - at the ready.
p.s. Odds are - someone on here has experienced whatever your quandary is.....

And the best news? We are still at work. And we actually care about helping you-we are not paid to pretend we know the answers.

I had the same thing happen on my cell phone. I have 800 numbers blocked on my cell and “unlisted “ numbers blocked.
They don’t even show up…
It may be your phone settings…

Thank you very much. I will give it a try, I very much appreciate your response. I see that eBay has now dealt with all their problems with sellers, to just hand them off to to the community, what a great company. Also that their IT keeps making upgrades and changes but typically do not include the sellers. Without us sellers, what would eBay be today.
Very kind regards
Jack

how to boost sales.
I've had a 100% satisfaction rate since my implementation this year. I try very hard to give customers discounts and with my hand crafted items, a bonus gift. I see watchers but don't know how to offer them something, individually-- i've checked all the tabs, etc. This part of self service is a bit difficult and I need to communicate with someone. Thank you!

Your post appears to be off topic, plus you've piggybacked on a thread from November 2021.
If you wish to receive help it's best to start your own thread.
If your watchers accept offers you will see in your Seller Hub under tasks : Listings eligible to send offers.
