Re: Contact real agent

Hi

That "potential buyer" is not really a buyer.  They are an unsolicited harasser and arguer, these two red flags alone means you automatically block them from buying.  You will never have a good order/an order that goes well, from people like this.  Save yourself from obvious trouble, do not allow them to buy from you.  They gave you very easy warning signs to avoid them.

Re: Contact real agent

I don't know. But there are many posters here who might address your issues. Would you care to expand?

Re: Contact real agent

You could ask here, search topics for issues why you need to contact "real person" for or use the Help/Contact contact us that is shown on every page using the call back.

Is your problem with something you bought or one of the two items you sold in August?

Most often the people here (other buyers and sellers) can help just as well as the agents.

@arthursanchez1

You can request a call back.  Go to Help & contract and tell them your issue.  However, eBay's customer service isn't the best.  They are outsourced overseas agents who know very little about eBay as they read from scripts & most of the time the info they give is false and incorrect.  Their focus is to get you off of the phone as quickly as they can.  They don't care about your problem because it's not their problem.

The best thing I can advise is to use the Facebook for business link that I'm providing for you:

https://www.facebook.com/ebayForBusiness/

These are US CS agents who are actual employees of eBay and may better serve you and what ever situation you are experiencing.  Many positive posts on this forum with their ability to be helpful.  I would give it a shot.  I certainly can't hurt.

Happy Selling!

Re: Contact real agent

Thanks so much … I really don’t use Facebook… I did talk to an overseas rep about a potential buyer on a couple of lab grown diamond rings i bought from gem stone king on Amazon with their complete description and this fool says they are not real because they don’t have an encryption on the band and after talking with gem stone king themselves they told me the 925 on their description means the sterling silver band is 92.5 percent pure.. even if it did have an encryption on the band it has nothing to do with the stone… he says I’m a fraudulent seller and **bleep** me off.. I could really put him down with words but it is against my religion and eBay policy I believe… much thanks for ur reply

Re: Contact real agent

You can't.  Sure, you can call customer service and/or type "agent" in the online help window to speak with a human being warming a seat in a call center in southeast Asia, but their grasp of the English language is so poor they won't understand your issue well enough to provide any meaningful assistance. All they can do is read and/or type vague scripted responses that have no bearing on whatever your issue might be.

And before anyone accuses me of exaggerating, sit down. I've been dealing with eBay "customer service" all day today, with absolutely no resolution in sight. I know what I'm talking about.

Re: Contact real agent

eBay won’t do anything about a “he said this and called me that “ scenario. Just put that buyer in your blocked buyers list and be done with them.  Blocked Buyers List

Acceptance is the answer to all problems today

Based on a lot of postings on this forum that opinion of eBay customer support these days is pretty accurate. You will get better solutions and advice on this forum than you will get from CS. If you wish to expand on your "all day" issue maybe somebody here can provide a solution or advice

Re: Contact real agent

I may have to do a check of some sort and find out if I, too am a real person. Kind of gets confusing after dealing with all these online bots

Re: Contact real agent

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.  Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is.  Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message.  It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://twitter.com/askebay

https://www.facebook.com/eBay/

https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/

Your options will be on the left.  If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.  Not all options are available 24/7.  It will depend on staffing available.  So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't.  Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me.  If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

Re: Contact real agent

This is a potential buyer, has not actually bought anything?

You don't need to talk to anyone.  Just block him.

After finally talking from a customer service rep from some other planet they said they will take care of this buyer.investigate her and block her for me… thx for ur replay… the buyer quit harassing me due to my last war/ conversation
