OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

Re: Confused on this HTTP and HTTPS

Hi Elaine

I just did this today. If you haven’t found help yet go up top in the community and search http help. The guru she spoke of gives an easy way to do it. I dont know how to do them with bulk but they are fixed.  The topic isn’t opened by him.

Good;uck

@pene4yrthots

You have 12 active listings with graphics hosted at freeauctiondesigns, so you can manually edit them one at a time or you can use eBay's Bulk Edit And Replace (BEAR) tool to update your listings.

The graphics start with the http: protocol that needs to be changed to https: instead.  Then, at the bottom of the listing is a non-eBay link that leads back to the template service, which should be removed.

If you want to edit listings one at a time, the Sandbox tool can provide repaired code:

http://www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/ActiveContentSandbox.htm

Paste your item number into the tool, click the SCAN button, then scroll down and open the "Filtered" tab. Copy all the repaired code from the "Filtered" tab and paste it into the HTML tab of eBay's Description Editor.

In the future, if you create a new listing or template at that service, you can test and repair the code before starting the new listing. Paste the HTML code from freeauctiondesigns into the top box of the Sandbox tool, click the Scan button, and then pick up the repaired code from the Filtered tab, which you can  paste into the HTML tab of a new listing.

If you would rather bulk edit your 12 listings, here is a tutorial for using eBay's BEAR tool.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Replacing-Active-Content/How-to-find-and-cope-with-Active-Content-tuto...

In the bulk editor, you would find

http:

and replace with

https:

When that scan has finished, you would run a second scan on all your listings and find:

href="https://freeauctiondesigns.com"

and leave the replacement empty.
