So I have a store account with roughly 1,000 listings. Different sport and non-sport cards, sets, and lots. I read through the glitch update posted October 15th. But I'm confused. Am I to update each listing one by one? Or am I supposed to be in a holding pattern? Haven't seen any activity in our store since last Thursday. So whatever they did just killed us. And I'm thinking my 1,000+ listings having 'required' fields that are blank in the item specifics is a big problem.

it still might be best to wait it out ... as tough as it is to do so and as bad as this mess is for sellers, this is eBay's mess to clean up:

I'm not sure about collectibles, but I was told this morning that this IS the case for clothing. I have to go in and manually enter the size on 300 listings, one at a time. FML

Oh boy. What a mess. I have 125 auctions on that store account that cannot be relisted in bulk because of this issue, as well. And they are a variety of listings with different specifics.

From my understanding the glitch has affected only clothing & shoes sellers. I did opt to (and still in the process of) update my 300 listings. I can’t wait for eBay to get their **bleep** together. I had no sales this past Friday and Saturday. One sale Sunday morning, and now 4 more today and they were all newly listed (unaffected by the glitch) listings and listing I had fixed.

I would NOT do that right now............READ THE ANNOUNCEMENT.....

Thanks dh for your wisdom on this which seems to say "hold off." My 3rd party listing program manager told me this morning he "expects" ebay to get him their "fixes" some time this week. However, if I go in now and newly list and do any revisions on what is already active, I will have to eventually go back and revise all of them later. So I am not listing anything newly listed until I get his upgrades.

Gulf..............that announcement is ON ebay BY ebay.............if you choose to believe someone who is NOT employed by ebay, that's your choice.........but to flatly state the information provided by Ebay is wrong........just doesn't work for me...........

@dhbookds these people have been right on about everything else, but set that aside . . . I called MYSELF this morning and was directly told that there is NOT a solution nor one coming soon. Everything I stated was told to me directly BY EBAY customer support. Like I said, I'm just trying to share my own experience and those of others I trust and follow. If you sell clothing and want to wait for ebay to fix these issues, certainly that is up to you of course. That will certainly NOT be my course of action based on what I was told this very morning when I called in. Best wishes to you.

I need reliable information on this....it's pointless for me to call eBay. I always get a foreign rep who doesn't have a clue! I think I am going to write eBay for business on FB and see what they have to say.

I'm happy to hear you have confidence in eBay's customer support and will march along with what you have been told. I hope you were given correct and accurate information...
but unfortunately I am not so sure the many thousands/hundreds of thousands of eBay sellers would not be so inclined to hold that same view nor have that much confidence in ANYTHING provided by eBay customer support staff these days...
10-21-2019 10:32 AM
Yeah, I hear you on that. I am not confident in any information being given to me as a seller lately by ebay, on the phone or the site. Sad to say, but that is how I feel. Can't get a straight answer, just have to do the research myself via trial and error on my own listings. That is another reason why I am going to fix my listings myself and not wait for ebay to *hopefully* and *eventually* sort it out. Again, not trying to ruffle people's feathers, just thought some sellers might appreciate the heads up. I know I did. Ebay has had a lot of glitches over the years and eventually they do get sorted out, albeit not always to my satisfaction. However, like I said, I was told what I was told and I did go in and experiment with my own listings (having logged out) and the ones with no size were not visible to an outsider =(. Hope it does get fixed soon. This sucks. @mrdutch1001

Sellers have to do what they feel is best for them and their business.
These days the frustrations with eBay seem to be endless...
I have gone from basic top rated seller to casual seller due to lack of sales over the past few years, but honestly I don't miss trying to keep up with it all. TRS is not what it used to be...
I am just thankful I have ALL my item listings on other selling venues so they are still visible on the internet and I don't have to worry at times like this when eBay is messed up - I don't have a business to maintain...I don't have an eBay store to maintain - my selling is purely hobby and I can list/not list as I so choose...

Is this affecting everyone or just people using seller hub? I notice the announcement about weekly chat references both things.
A seller just posted his frustration on the PS board because he has over 36,000 clothing listings. ouch
