New conditions rolled out. I'm trying to gauge interest here before I spend time putting something together.
If you need assistance with updating your items in bulk, post a reply to let me know.
I'm thinking about putting together a tutorial with tips on how to most efficiently use the bulk edit tool to both identify and update listings. I'm not going to do it if only a couple people need it (sorry), but I will put in the work with screenshots and everything if a bunch of you want the assistance.
If others find this thread in the daylight tomorrow, please give it a bump so sellers can see it and weigh in if they need the help.

Thanks, I didn't realize the condition update had finally rolled out. I'm not sure I will need bulk edit, because I doubt I will change many of my listings from good. Also, it seems vintage clothing doesn't have the option & several of mine are in that category, so I don't have too many to deal with.

I hope folks realize what a asset and tremendous help you are to the community!

I'm seeing 'Vintage' clothing on this (fairly uninformative) page. >> Set perfect pre-loved clothing conditions | eBay.com

Thanks for the link...interesting. I went back to look at a couple of mine listed in vintage clothing and I still don't see the conditions. Are other people seeing them or maybe they all haven't rolled out yet?

think it will make NAD easier for buyers because everyone's perspective is so different

See... that is my thought. It's such an objective/subjective 'thang'. I can't imagine that 'Good' wouldn't protect a seller most. Curious as to what @wastingtime101 would come up with... but I don't sell clothing anymore, so I'd not ask him to waste that time on me. But if anyone needs help, now's the time to line up. If the line goes three-deep... you know he's on it! 🙌

I sold something marked as "Pre-owned - Excellent" the other day.
It wasn't a very expensive item, and it had no flaws.
I look at it as a test case. We'll see how it goes.

Eh. I kinda disagree with that based on how clearly defined the new conditions are. I think if sellers do their job right this will provide more transparency, and because buyers can filter by condition it will lessen SNAD claims as long as sellers are not over-promising.
It's helped by the fact eBay is using only 3 conditions and not 5-6.
One of those conditions is clear - Excellent is to have no flaws.
Sure there will be some level of subjectivity between Good and Fair, but even that should be pretty easy to determine.
When in doubt: under promise and over deliver.

If others express interest @agentcloseteur I'll tag you on the tutorial.
If nobody else wants a tutorial I'll give you a few short written tips without the full-blown tutorial.
