Communication to all ebayers browsing my active sellings to let them know I'm on vacation

Hi all,

A very silly questions. I'm on vacation Sept 8-19 and it will delay the shipping of the items. I would like to create a generic message visible to all ebayers browsing all my offers to let them know I will be on vacation and will send the items on my returns How do I set this up?

You cannot do a vaction setting unless you have a store.
You can either cancel all yor listings (Which is the best) or extend your handling time
If you insist on leaving your listings up you do risk upsetting buyers, they sometimes pay no attention to handling time

Do not just go on vacation without either cancelling all your listings or extending your handling time
If you don't then you will run into late shipment defects & that would be  a mess.

I'm not sure how soon you ship items after payment, but I found out the hard way- I ship within 24 hours after payment; I left for a week and put my store on vacation with the message I would ship immediately upon return and the date. I sold 2 items and shipped the day I returned. Because the packages were "late shipment", I received 2 defects.

To reiterate you can not put that vacation message on unless you have a store.  As you don't have a store your choices are to change your handling time to 10 days or however long you need and put a blurb in the body of your description that dates you are away, which will result in a delay of shipping -- or -- end your listings altogether and relist them when your return home.
