Finding a sold listing from over a year ago?

How do I find a sold listing in my account from over a year ago?  I found a book that may go with it but want to view item pics first to be sure.

Finding a sold listing from over a year ago?

I check my image archives on my media server to see when the pictures were initially taken, and then bring up the spreadsheet from that month to see what it sold for.  Of course, if it sold on a different month after the initial listing, I bring up a few at a time, the next spreadsheet and the few after that until I find where it sold.

You should have all of this type of data in your offline sales records.  You do keep records, right?

If it works, sell it. If it works well, sell it for more. If it doesn't work, quadruple the price and sell it as an antique.

It's nearly impossible to find transactions that old.  You can try either doing a Google search for the item using the exact title or searching through your PAYPAL transactions from around that time.

Unfortunately the Google search won't show many if any pictures still.  Definitely none on a PAYPAL search.  But you should be able to find the buyer's name and address if you are relatively sure the item is the same.  Then you can ship the book if you are so inclined.

It definitely goes above and beyond good customer service.  Good on you!

eBay has every single listing that has even been placed on it's site!

I have one of mine bookmarked so I don't lose it.

Look how old this listing is!

That's cool but if the OP didn't bookmark it, he likely won't have the same successful result as you.  Should he manage to find it and provided he hosted his own pictures rather than uploading them to eBay, he will have something to work with.

The point of my post was he likely won't be able to do a search on ebay to find a listing more than 90 days old or so.  I've tried it with some of my own and they have poofed into cyberspace.

Most of them were less than a few months ago...
