Since the update hit Wednesday, I had a buyer purchase 2 items overnight. They paid for them separately.
I can no longer click on the orders and select combine orders, purchase one shipping label, nor print a copy of the two orders together for my records.
After trying, I decided to see what would happen if I clicked on both and purchased shipping label. After going through the steps, two different labels popped up. I cancelled the labels.
Has anyone had this problem and figured it out? These two items can easily be combined to save buyer some shipping costs and get a partial refund.

Simply combine the two items into one package and purchase the shipping label for that package based on the dims and weight. Copy the tracking information and add the tracking information to the second order. Issue a refund for the difference in the shipping cost.

I don't like change when you have to work harder to complete the same task. lol!

Click for a label on one item and upper right side says "bulk orders" click on that and then you can combine.

thank you. Thay may have been where I messed up when I tried to purchase the single label and two labels popped up.

Hi. I had the same problem today. I did exactly what you stated, but when I wanted to add the tracking number to the other item, I did the following: I went into New Order Details, Add Tracking, put in tracking number of first item and got this message - "Tracking number added is already used for a different buyer." How did you get yours to work? Thanks.

By chance were these BIN/IPR or were they maybe going through EIS as an international sale? There have always been some glitches, never consistent, with combining shipping on BIN/IPR and at the present time EIS will not support combined shipping.

I, too, am encountering the "Tracking number added is already used by a different buyer" thing when combining shipments using a third-party shipper - that can't "combine orders" (so I shipped for one order, containing both).
It IS the same buyer, which makes this an erroneous error message (it is not a "different buyer", it's the same person, same shipment). It's also an international shipment, which is exactly why it's combined.
Frustrating and dumb to run into this error, keeping me from actually providing the real tracking number for the item!

Was this an order sent using EIS? That program doesn’t allow you to send items in one package if they were paid for separately. Each transaction should have a unique EIS identifying number.

If there's 2 orders with same name, but different user name, you can't do it. But otherwise, copy and paste tracking #, hit "mark as shipped"

OP is not using EIS they ship to US only. If they had been EIS has fixed the combined shipping problem.

One reason could be that buyers that use a mobile app cannot request a total. eBay starts throwing up the PAY NOW memos as soon as the listing ends, and don't know if your buyer is "new" and doesn't know any better. If they were "offers" eBay is tweaking that as well and will require a buyer to pay separately. Once paid, combining and invoicing is off the table. I was going to check on something else for you, but I am on your BBL.

For your buyers to combine your items in their cart:
From the homepage, go to the upper-left to Account Settings
Under Selling, click on Shipping Preferences
Next to Allow combined payments and shipping, edit Combined Payments
Edit either: Flat, Calculated, or Promotional

On the mobile app there is no "bulk orders" on the right. Will it work to print 1 label for two items and try to mark "as shipped" and add the tracking # of the one label used? Or will it say label already used for different order?
