Has anyone else noticed that you can no longer see a dollar range for shipping charges when you choose "calculated shipping"? Before this afternoon, I could always see a range for all the methods, such as First Class, Parcel Select Ground, etc. when I was making a listing. I used this to help me decide on box sizes and what method I would use. It seems to be gone now, with just the categories showing, no prices. Not happy!

Yes, I did. I spent over an hour on chat with eBay over this issue. I had another problem with it as well. I could not and still can not list an item using my Android Cell Phone or my iPad because it would only let me select Free Shipping. If I selected calculated shipping it would show “Enter how much you’ll charge the buyer”. I finally got the item listed using my laptop. He had me opt out of sellers hub, which I am not sure that has anything to do with it, because I opted out of it 3 times while I was on the chat and he kept telling me it showed I did not opt out.
This is what he had me do to show different shipping costs.
Using my laptop, he had me go to the Shipping area of the draft listing, then click on Add Service. At the bottom of the page, you will see calculate shipping. Click on that and then fill out the form of whether it is a package, letter, dimensions, weight. You can leave the destination zip code empty. Once you have that filled out, hit calculate shipping again and it will show you the different shipping costs. Once you have decided on what service you want, click it to select. Not as user friendly as before.
Is anyone else having the shipping issues using your cell phone or iPad? I only use my cell phone to list items, but as of right now, I was told I had to use my laptop. He said informed Technical of my problem, but who knows if they will do anything.
He also said to give feedback to Ebay about the problem.
Hope this helps.

Yes! Came running here to see if it was just me. Not putting my drafts live until I see some shipping numbers!

Yes, I'm seeing this as well today. Hoping it's a temporary glitch...

Question is, what can we do about it?! I called ebay and got zero help.
Maybe if more people complain?
NOT OK!!!

Why do you need to know that? First Class package will always be cheaper and faster than Parcel Select, and Priority will always be more expensive than either of them, but faster than PS.

Part of it is needing to know the numbers, but mostly I don’t want to waste my time putting up something if the whole listing is corrupted. Usually with eBay, if one thing is “broken” the whole thing is a mess. Three months from now I don’t want to be wondering why my item isn’t selling when it turns out the shipping field is the issue. Or worse, eBay charges $0 in shipping for my 8lb item!
hey eBay…how about an announcement here!

It's became so high no one wants to see it..?

I found those ranges were not accurate anyway. I even created a post about it a few weeks ago. In that post, I wondered why eBay was under-charging for UPS shipping. Turns out, it was the range that was being presented during ad creation/edit that was wrong (high)... Which of course led to an assumption I wouldn't lose money on shipping with that weight/size/handling combination. But I did in the end anyway. Because people several states away were getting charged less than the minimum amount that was showing in the ad creation/edit process... So it wasn't really the minimum... In that post, I commented something to the effect: "What is the point even showing amounts if they're wrong, eBay?" Maybe they took that to heart and are in the process of fixing them? (Yeah... Wishful thinking. It's more likely this is just a new bug...)

You are welcome. It is definitely a pain to list items now.
I always use my phone as well to list items. I thought it may be a problem with the Ebay app, but I tried going to ebay.com on my phone, and it doesn't have the option to calculate shipping listed, so you can't see the estimated costs that way either.
Very frustrating.

It seems to be working normally again this morning (for me, at least). Phew!
