China monopolizing Ebay!

Here's a question. Why is it that China can sell to US buyers on EBay and they can ship their products here for extremely little or no cost??? This very unfair advantage is allowing China to dominate on EBay and this needs to come to an end. US sellers can't ship their products to China, just prohibitively too expensive. Very unfair!!!

You would have to talk w/ the Chinese government regarding the low shipping cost the Chinese sellers get to pay. That's on their end, not ebay's.

My beef would be the duplicate listings, stringing buyers along w/ promises of replacements until the time period allowed by ebay has passed, sending trinkets vs. what was really ordered . . just to mention a few.

Furthermore the US shouldn't even be dealing with China period given their human rights violations, keeping Bibles out of their country even though millions upon millions of Chinese are hungry for God's word. Its evil communism!

And no, its not just their government giving them free shipping. The US postal service carries their shipments to their final destination. So there, unfair!

You'll have to ask Congress and the executive branch.

Congress controls how much you pay for postage.

The executive branch negotiates with the Universal Postal Union.

The current administration is working to get rid of this problem.  The real question is how much will fine the companies that support this type of behavior.

Backstabbing the well from Witch eBay feeds will not be tolerated.

The current postage rates are set by the USPS with oversight from Congress. Please explain how the current administration would fine companies who are paying those rates.

Yes, but the savy buyer can easily avoid them.

Shop US only.  And for the ones that get through, look at the shipping and handling time.  If it is over 2 weeks chances are they are not in the US and they go on my seller block list.

I was'nt talking about fining them under postage rates.  I was talking about fining eBay for supporting the import of Chinese black market items.  It's a job killer.

We can fine them & even shut them down under the Homeland Security Act.

Is there a Seller block list now, like the blocked buyer list? If so, how do you get there.  I have been wanting a list like that for years, after a few bad transactions with bad sellers.

Wrong.

The United Postal Union which is part of the United Nations is who sets international postage rates. It's based on how rich or poor the UPU views the country.

Since you mentioned nothing absolutely about eBay for supporting the import of Chinese black market items, I guess that's why I did not understand you were talking about eBay for supporting the import of Chinese black market items 🙂
