Here's a question. Why is it that China can sell to US buyers on EBay and they can ship their products here for extremely little or no cost??? This very unfair advantage is allowing China to dominate on EBay and this needs to come to an end. US sellers can't ship their products to China, just prohibitively too expensive. Very unfair!!!

We can fine them & even shut them down under the Homeland Security Act.
Since you mentioned nothing absolutely about eBay for supporting the import of Chinese black market items, I guess that's why I did not understand you were talking about eBay for supporting the import of Chinese black market items 🙂
Since the Digital Millennium Copyright Act provides eBay from with safe harbor from liability for the acts of its sellers, and provides intellectual property owners with a mechanism to remove infringing listings (VERO), I sincerely doubt the US government is going to invoke the Homeland Security Act against eBay.
My understanding of the Homeland Security Act is that it is primarily intended as a vehicle for protecting the US from terrorism, not a tool to override the existing mechanisms for dealing with counterfeit retail items.

Ebay wants it that way. Taxpayers pay.
Ebay facilitates Chinese sellers greatly for the profits, and USPS helps, and the Chinese government heavily subsidizes their own postal system and gives them the e-packet.
That makes it easy and cheap for Chinese sellers to flood the market because it only costs them pennies to ship. Look out below should the current administration put an end to it; ebay would suffer greatly.
"Tri-Lateral Shipping Alliance Signed with eBay GC and China Post"

ePacket
"It is an exclusive shipping service for merchants on eBay, Aliexpress, etc."

Furthermore the US shouldn't even be dealing with China period given their human rights violations, keeping Bibles out of their country even though millions upon millions of Chinese are hungry for God's word. Its evil communism!Hungry for God's word? I think they're more hungry for a Big Mac and fries
@starfishaaron is correct~there is a hunger for Bibles over there, and if you are informed about this, you know it is true. Big Mac and fries notwithstanding.

Companies that do this as far as I'm concerned are almost traitors. Especially when the chinese get favortism. At least make the playing field even. Not to mention it's all JUNK! At times I think the demise of this site is because of this. No one wants to wait months for items shipping in from china. Or not get them at all. Or it seems everything coming from there is tiny tiny. So maybe after awhile, between this and the fact it seems impossible to find the good US sellers in this pathetic search. Countless pages and pages of the chinese DOLLAR STORE LOW GRADE DOLLAR TYPE JUNK? No buyers come here anymore. touche'

Sorry, that's my fault. I get a little ahead of myself when I see my people getting mistreated & taken advantage of.
Not gonna happen, No more.

If you read the Economic Security portion of the Homeland Security Act. You will see it does't matter if the item is fake or real. If it's hurting the US economy, Homeland Security can shut you down.

Maybe someone can start a petition at Whitehouse.gov? I would do it myself but I think a more experienced writer can create a better statement than myself.
You can write congressmen and bring this issue up at campaign events.
Also, I want a law that states clearly where your products are coming from when you make an online purchase.

The quality of China's products are the big problem.... They historically have had serious health related problems because the paints or products are contaminated with toxins.
Example:
Lead laced paints
Melamine laced products including food
EBay should wise up and even the playing field. They must see CHINA is harming eBay sales.
Can eBay survive if 99% are China if their products often sell for nearly nothing$$
