I have noticed that tons of sellers are putting unknown in their item specifics for made in, I think it's pretty ridiculous when most everything is made in China & customers know that, But to put unknown when it states it right on the package is a bit ridiculous

I only fill in item specifics if someone might want to use that field to search for items. Who searches for items made in China??
However, if I have an item like Vintage Barbie where whether it is made in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc. dates an item as vintage to a certain time period, I’ll fill in the “Made In” field. Or a Steiff Bear that was made in Germany, as opposed to some later ones made in China.

That's fine when it is unkown then put unknown, When it is obvious just put it, A very simple thing to do, That's all I'm saying!

I guess it's more the Laziness that actually bothers me.

It also applies to many other items such as older Hot Wheels & other collectibles.

So you sell coins & you put in other's information, I certainly would not purchase coins from you knowing this!

I mean, there's been many times we put Unknown for the location where something was manufactured when it genuinely didn't say (too common with books), but if it says, I don't see any justification for not putting it in.
