Unless the recipient doesn’t see through this and makes your life miserable since the package shows delivered

There have been some recently reported instances of "duplicate" USPS tracking #'s being issued.

Are you a victim of this glitch?

Did you give it to your carrier or hand it over at the counter?

I think someone hit the wrong button on their scanner.

The buyer sent me a message with this screen shot attached joking about it.

Yea your carrier hit the wrong button, mine does it maybe 1 or 2 times a year. Only biggie is the emails I get and have to answer until the next hub scans it.

Yeah pudgy fingers on the scanner, it should repair itself when it gets scanned tonight at the Regional Origin Facility.

I wonder how the carrier got the Massachusetts location as the delivery! (Unless the buyer is in MA.)

I've seen that happen in the past and it'll self-correct the next time it's scanned.

This is not just a case of premature mistaken Delivery scan: Look at the locations:  The "delivery" scan was 7 minutes after the label was created, but thousands of miles away.   So this seems more likely to be a duplicate use of the same tracking number for two packages.

USPS got their transporter working and your package must have been one of those they used for testing. Hopefully all the atoms were arranged correctly when it arrived at the destination.

Either USPS recently acquired Star Trek transporters, or your mailman accidentally scanned it as delivered instead of received lol

Definitely worth the additional price increase on July 9.
